My sister Lauren and I had a great idea today. We saw that it was 20 degrees and sunny in beautiful Ohio, so we went outside and pretended that it was warm enough to get tan. Instead of getting tan, we narrowly escaped frostbite for the sake of a few good shots.

Lauren wanted some new pictures for 2010, and also some modeling-specific portraits. I adore photographing my family, so we made an event out of the activity.

In frigid weather, we celebrated the engagement of this awesome couple! The single digit temperatures did not keep us from having a great time. Izzy, the couple’s siberian husky, came along for the shoot. She had no problems adapting to the outside weather!
