Modern Photographer for Fashionable People.

Welcome! My name is Lindsay and I'm a Southern Ohio wedding photographer. I love blessing others through photography in Jesus' name. I'm married to a robotics engineer named Michael and we love meeting new people and creatively documenting their lives. What sets me apart as a photographer is my ability to create a unique, sophisticated, and fashionable experience for every client. On this blog you will find photos from my recent shoots and personal design projects. Thanks for stopping by!

Jennifer, one of my best friends since high school, is getting married this June. It’s been such a joy getting to know her and her fiance, Jeff. Both are engineers and share the same list of “favorite things” – they both enjoy biking, coffee, physics, shopping at Banana Republic, and dance lessons.

Jennifer’s family is like my own. I walk through their front door without knocking as often as possible. I sometimes call Jen’s mother “mom”, and I always enjoy sharing a meal at their house. In fact, Jennifer and I are a lot alike. We wear similar outfits on a such a frequent basis that we have a series of photos to prove we dress like twins. Further, Jen and I both got engaged within two weeks of each other, and we will be getting married at the same location (exactly one year apart!).

I’m excited to be part of her wedding, and participate in her exciting events. Here are some of my favorite images of her bridal shower, and a slideshow below that includes all the photos.

Best Wishes, Jen!

I first met Blake when we were in middle school and attended the same church. I used to go over to her house where we would put on make-up and do our hair. Now, 10 years later, Blake is a professional hair stylist and still has great fashion.

I was overjoyed to shoot with Blake and her fiance downtown in the cityscape. There was only one catch… it was raining. We snuck inside the Schuster Center on the corner of 2nd Street and Ludlow to talk about the plan of attack for the photos.

With a constant mist of rain, and barely reaching 40 degrees all day, the light in the city was breathtaking. Even more, there were barely any cars or people around on a rainy Sunday, so it was as if we had the whole city to ourselves.

Our approach to this shoot was FASHION. We wanted these pictures to look more like something out of a recent copy of Elle or In Style, instead of traditional engagement pictures. Let me know your thoughts!

Congrats Blake and Jeremy!

For more images of this city shoot, check out the session slideshow, which features an amazing song by Jem.
