I love the business of working with people and the challenge of telling their unique story. But as an artist, I have a series of personal projects that I also do on a semi-consistent basis. This is one of them.
One of my goals as a photographer is to shoot a fashion spread for a magazine – large or small circulation – and have my work in print.
Cheryl, my very gorgeous model, was willing to try some edgy things for this shoot. I plan to continue working on fashion staging in the future, but here is a glimpse of the fun we had together:

One day I plan to shoot an entire entourage wearing extravagant costumes comprised of feathers, glitter, and organza. For now, Cheryl in a peacock mask is a good start.
I didn’t tell Cheryl, but when I took this shot I thought she resembled Lady Gaga. Call it a tribute, if you will.

The entire theme we were attached to was sophistication and glamour. Even though Cheryl was wearing shorts, I wanted her to look polished.
