So, when we were deciding the location of his senior portraits, we decided to find a place with a bit of concrete and a lot of space. Thomas and I agreed that a skateboarding action pose was much cooler than the old school lean-against-a-tree pose. Here’s the proof:
After showing off his skating moves for the camera, Thomas proceeded to grab a guitar from his car. What talent! I took one look at the instrument and asked, “So, do you play Gun N’ Roses style?” He laughed while shaking his head and replied, “No, I play metal.” Then I felt old for asking such a question.
Thomas – Have a great year! Go class of 2011!

I love school supplies, too………..I guess I will be starting 56th grade this fall!!!
This year, in addition to the necessary College Ruled notebook paper and some classy notebooks for myself, I bought five flexible rulers in rainbow colors. I think it’s time to teach my grandchildren how to measure with a ruler…..well, at least the 5 year olds…it may be a bit early for the 3, 2, and 1 year old, but nobody likes to be left out when it comes to cool school supplies.
As for graduation year logos, I saw a ’70 OSU sweatshirt and was all excited that someone was marketing my graduation year….then I remembered that the University was founded in 1870—it’s probably NOT all about me.
